Mission

Fellowship Bible Church exists to love and worship God, love people, share Jesus and teach God’s word.

Vision

To promote and advance the Kingdom of God & develop culturally relevant, socially engaged, reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ in Elmont and surrounding areas of New York City.  We are committed to do this using all God honoring mediums available to us.

Values

• The word of God (the Bible) is our primary source of instruction in Godly living.
•  Everything we do (in form and motivation) should bring honor to God and cause people to have opportunities to experience intimacy with God.
• Everything we do is motivated by our love for God and people which is the best response to God having first loved us.
• Our worship and ministry will be diverse in expression and wholistic in form, including teaching of the word, dance, drama, multimedia, music and other forms as determined by the context and community we serve in Elmont, NY.
•  Prayer and hard work (excellence) are at the center of all activity in our church community.
• The supernatural power, presence and experience of the Holy Spirit bind us together as a unique community & enable us to live the Christian life.
• Baptism, the Lord’s Supper, church discipline and giving of our resources (money, time and gifts/talents) are practiced as normal expressions of being a part of the family of God and Fellowship Bible Church.
• Developing reproducing Disciples of Christ is a lifetime process not an event.
• Fellowship Bible Church should reflect the cultural diversity of the Elmont community (and the borough of Queens & Long Island, NY).
